First off, this comment is coming from a family that has bought and sold over 10 properties over the last 17 years within CT, MA and ME.

I contacted Jamie and Mark two weeks ago via email on a Zillow ad regarding properties in Sarasota and we are now proud soon- to -be owners at Shoreview at Waterside, Lakewood Ranch, Sarasota.

These agents were accessible 24 hours. We live in Canada most of the year so it was very difficult to search for properties. We would have never known if Mark hadn’t done the research. Jamie did a great job setting us up with local services, a great new club, a preschool, and even helped with a nanny. Great knowledge of buildings and sorted out our likes and dislikes immediately – so then on were able to be on the same sheet while searching. Great eye for design and features – stuff that we overlooked but turns out is very important. Mark was able to explain the whole process to us, on multiple calls (sometimes later in the day). He explained the whole rental/income process, including building management and costs. With his help, we ran the numbers and determined that a small house was much better than a condo. Next he helped narrow the part of Longboat that we wanted to buy on, and was able to provide local details like traffic concerns, churches, and beaches. His help was invaluable. We’ve looked at a few homes with him and know are just waiting on the right one to come on the market. He emails us daily about new homes listed and even previews properties that he thinks will be a good fit. We are excited to return in the summer to continue the process of buying.

Mark helped us make one of the best decisions of our lives. He is an honest agentand helped us come to a decision to buy a property much less expensive than our original budget. After he learned about our needs and wants, we looked at a few very large homes in a residential neighborhood. We thought that’s what we wanted. But as Mark got to know us he actually sat us down in between showings and suggested we consider another part of town that he felt better suited our lifestyle, even though the prices were much cheaper. I’ve never known an agent not to try to sell the most expensive property. He was spot on. We loved the neighborhood and it suited us much better. We settled on a perfect property and Mark helped us go after it agrssively. We got a great little property at a great price. Mark is the best. We always pitch him to our friends that are considering moving into Sarasota. We need more agents like him in real estate.

I was on a quick timeline to reinvest my capital gains before being taxed (1031). Mark was able to find me something perfect, and then were able to keenly negotiate a price that I thought was impossible and within budget. Very impressed with their services and local expertise. Respond quick and by text, phone, email, etc. On point with their tech and understand younger buyers like myself and the whole real estate process in a rapidly changing inductry. I’m excited for my new place and will use them again when it’s time to sell.

I had a bad experience with a “bigtime” agent in the area that never listened to me and was rude all the time. Mark was awesome. So kind and responsive, even with silly questions at late hours. Mark interviewed, mark listed, Mark showed the home, and Mark closed for me. This sounds easy but many other big agents pass things off to other lesser experienced agents to do the work for them. Not Mark, he was my sole point of contact the entire time. He listened to my every need, but pushed back when he though he needed to, which I respected. I was very impressed with his high level of service and professionalism. In the end I got a great deal and never lost a night of sleep. He will list every home I ever sell.

Mark was familiar with the local market, neighborhoods, and other agents. We found him to be both guiding but not heavy handed. He protected us from potential drama and kept the whole process very smooth.

Mark/Jamie helped us with a recent home purchase and we are very grateful that they were involved through the entire process. Many people know the entire home buying process can be stressful with multiple hurdles to cross before actually closing on a home. Mark/Jamie helped my wife and I navigate this process as smoothly as possible and we are forever thankful. We happened to work more with Mark on our particular situation, but know they both are working on each of their clients' situations. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area, current real estate trends and the other listing agents involved. He had quality home inspection people to assist with that aspect as well as a real estate attorney to make sure the closing went smoothly. He introduced me to a local mortgage loan officer who was absolutely invaluable with that separate process of loan approval. I don't believe I could recommend the loan officer highly enough, but that's a whole other review....just ask Mark/Jamie which banker they prefer to work with and they'll guide you. Mark was extremely professional throughout every aspect of the process and despite him surely being busy with other clients, I never felt that he was not attending to our questions/concerns. From our experience with their service, they could not have been any better and I would give them the highest recommendation possible.
